Yes, you are absolutely right. We are known for our large packs. But in this case, we simply had to make an exception: Our energy balls come in a convenient individual pack, because the idea is that you can take them with you everywhere. Whether after sports, between lectures or during work: our energy balls are a quick snack solution on the go and should fit in every backpack. We have changed the packaging several times over the last few years and have reduced around 65% of the original packaging material with our latest changes. Our bliss balls used to be surrounded by a bagasse shell, which we no longer use in order to save packaging waste. Of course, the new packaging still protects the ball perfectly. And even though it makes it look a little smaller, each energy ball weighs in at 30 g, just as before.
Salted pistachio: the irresistible combination
Along with all our other energy balls we also have the salted pistachio version in our selection. The flavour can be described in two words: incredible ad delicious! The coarse shape makes each ball look homemade, making each ball unique, and the energy balls are exclusively made from plant-based ingredients! The treats are made from date paste, oat flakes, agave syrup, pistachio and salt, that's it! The core is made from creamy pistachio butter. We’d like to explain how this snack is made: this specific Energy Ball is designed with a core of 100% pure pistachio paste. However, because we make a pure, natural product without artificial additives, fats, or emulsifiers, this filling can be very compact and firm, or sometimes partially seep into the date shell. As a result, the filling isn’t liquid or creamy like an industrial cream, which might make it seem as though there’s no filling inside. The fact that you also found them not sweet enough is due to our recipe: We completely avoid refined sugar and rely entirely on the subtle natural sweetness of dates and agave syrup, combined with a delicate, salty-bitter pistachio note—which, of course, is a matter of personal taste.
