Cocoa and reishi latte

Fancy a chocolatey drink, different from anything you've had before? Then try our creamy cocoa-reishi latte! Reishi is a mushroom that is gently dried and ground into a fine powder. It adds a slightly earthy, tangy note that blends wonderfully with baking cocoa and a dash of maple syrup. For extra creaminess, simply stir in a spoonful of dark almond butter – and you’ll have a full-bodied, velvety hot drink that fits perfectly into your daily routine.

250 ml Barista oat drink
1 Tsp. Reishi powder
1 tbsp. Baking cocoa
1 Tsp. Maple syrup or agave syrup
1 Pinch Vanilla powder
1 Pinch Cinnamon
1 Pinch Salt
1 Tsp. Almond butter, dark
  • Step 1/2

    Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat gently over a medium heat, stirring vigorously with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy. Do not let it boil; just heat it through. Optionally, froth briefly with a milk frother or blender for a particularly creamy texture.

    Pour into a cup and top with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings as desired.
